Toray Sponsor of 10-K Race for 80th Annual Apple Blossom Festival
Front Royal, VA, April 16, 2007: Toray Plastics (America), Inc. is a proud sponsor of the 80th Annual Apple Blossom Festival’s 10-K race to be held Saturday, May 5th. This race attracts over 900 runners annually. Participants run in front of thousands of spectators, waiting for the start of the Grand Feature parade. It has been said that the number of spectators at this race is the largest group in the region.
The Festival is held in Winchester/Frederick County, Virginia, in the beautiful and historic Northern Shenandoah Valley. Crowds in excess of 250,000 attend the festival each year.
The Toray name and logo is included in the 10K race segment on the Festival Network, which covers Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia and Pennsylvania, the special festival insert in the Shenandoah Valley region, with a circulation of 250,00, and on the festival website, thebloom.com. You can also look for Toray’s name and logo on the event banner. Toray’s Paul Sieradski will represent Toray in the 10-K race!
